Luckily mum was found a bed at St Christopher’s Hospice within a day. Karen and I drove up so we were there to meet her. In the event though the staff asked us to go for a wander so they could get mum settled in. So we explored the place and when we saw mum she was looking better, with less pain and more lucid because the hospice had altered the drugs and they way they were delivered. We then spent some time just chatting.
