Day 2: Distractions
Mum was admitted on the Thursday and once she was settled I left. On the Friday I visited dad. He wasn’t really with it and seemed to be more focussed on himself, while I was preoccupied with thoughts about mum. Looking back though I can see dad was in shock and so not really responding to the situation in a normal way.
